After a three year process, The Hummingbird is commercially zoned to hold events and possesses all mandatory permits. Please beware: many countryside venues are operating illegally without proper zoning or occupancy permits. These venues can be shut down at any moment leaving you scrambling to find another location. Equally worrisome, the venue could be unsafe as proper life safety measures have not been rigorously reviewed.
